PSN-YPG NATIONAL REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY 2023
PSN COUNCIL RESOLUTION ON PSN-YPG TERMS OF MEMBERSHIP
During the month in review, the PSN council meeting was held and the council graciously reconsidered the terms of membership of PSN-YPG to accommodate YP who are up to 35 years as against the 30 years as previously stated.
Therefore, membership is open to all pharmacists registered with the PCN who are less than or equal to 35 years of age or less than or equal to 5 years post-graduation with a first degree from an approved school of pharmacy.
UPDATE ON THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON COURSES
During the month in review, registration for two University of Washington namely, FUNDAMENTALS OF GLOBAL HEALTH RESEARCH and LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT IN HEALTH commenced. It is an opportunity to upskill and acquire a UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON certificate.
The course fee is currently at a subsidized rate for financial members of PSN-YPG. Please contact the National Vice Chairman on 07032915498 for more information.
SOFT SKILLS NEEDS – ASSESSMENT SKILLS SURVEY

COURTESY VISITS
During the month in review, the National Chairman visited the PSN-YPG Edo state Executive committee and stakeholders. The visit was aimed at achieving a national remuneration scale and advancing unity in welfare and leadership decisions among young pharmacists in the state.

ANNUAL NATIONAL CONFERENCE
The Conference planning committee led by Pharm. Chiagozie PraiseGod C. is ready to give us a befitting conference come July 2023. The conference has been scheduled to hold from 3rd to 7th July 2023.
