Distinguished Young Pharmacist, I welcome you to the month of March 2023.
PSN-YPG NATIONAL REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY 2023
UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON COURSES
During the month in review, we were able to conclude the registration for two University of Washington courses namely, FUNDAMENTALS OF GLOBAL HEALTH RESEARCH and LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT IN HEALTH. The course will take its full course in April. Those who registered but are yet to pay the prescribed fee should endeavor to do so on or before the 10th day of March 2023.
We urge Young Pharmacists to seize opportunities like this when next it comes.
KEEP ALL YOUNG PHARMACISTS INFORMED (KAY – PI) SERIES
During the month in review, the first series of the KAY – PI on “Registering a premises, being a superintendent and/or being a Director: What the new PCN ACT says” was scheduled to hold but couldn’t hold, due to concerns regarding the timing which appeared to be around the same time as the result collation of the federal election of our dear country.

Moreso, expect more series of the KAY-PI on the different aspects of pharmacy practice.
SOFT SKILLS NEEDS – ASSESSMENT SURVEY
The soft skill needs assessment was concluded and the results were analyzed. I would love to thank those who participated. The outcome of the analysis has provided a guide to the soft skills of interest for YPs and trust us to act on such.
ADVISORY
Following the outcome of the Federal election of our dear country, I urge us all to be calm and careful with what we say and our choice of words in public domains.
I also urge us all to have renewed hope in Nigeria and a better country ahead. Do not be discouraged, the path to greatness is not usually easy.
